our Approach
Did you know that recent studies indicate that Indigenous People are the most effective at conserving biodiversity compared to Western conservation methods, such as national parks. This effectiveness is attributed to their deep, ancestral connections to their territories and the diverse ecological knowledge they possess. This shows that strenghtening the guardians of these areas have effect, not only locally but globally as well.
Silvae started as a trip to the jungle some decades ago, where meeting the rainforest and its people sparked a whole new direction for our team members and co-founders involved. They all travelled around the globe researching regenerative solutions, learning from old models as well as within the systems existing. And soon found expertise within their own fields,
Silvaes co-founders Jenny Hviding and Artur Moustafa shares a vision and extensive field experience; Together they bring decades of research, active dedication and work in ecology, regenerative systems design and the preservation of ancestral wisdom.
What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We have layed the foundations over years work and now we are even more excited for what’s ahead. What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take time to understand, explore, and create with purpose at every turn.
